Smart Irrigation Solutions for Your HOA

Every community has unique irrigation challenges—aging systems, wiring issues, uneven coverage, or wasted water. VizRivo specializes in identifying and solving these problems with precision and long-term efficiency in mind.

From redesigning turf zones and upgrading controllers to locating hidden wiring faults and improving overall water management, each project demonstrates our commitment to sustainability, reliability, and measurable results.

The outcome: healthier landscapes, lower water bills, and irrigation systems that run smarter—not harder.

Turf Zone Redesign & Efficiency Upgrade

Before VizRivo’s work, this community’s turf area suffered from uneven watering and wasted water due to an outdated control setup and mismatched sprinkler heads.

Ray and the VizRivo team traced and repaired faulty control wiring, replaced an old Hunter Node controller, and completely redesigned the turf zone for balanced coverage. By installing matched precipitation MP3500 heads and optimizing the system to run efficiently at 55 GPM, the new design ensures even irrigation across the entire lawn—using water far more effectively.

The result: healthier turf, reduced water waste, and a more reliable irrigation system tailored for long-term efficiency

Full Coverage & Smarter Water Use

Following VizRivo’s redesign, the entrance turf now receives even, consistent water coverage with no dry patches—an immediate improvement in both appearance and efficiency. The system delivers just the right amount of water where it’s needed, keeping this high-visibility area lush and healthy.

Even the large Royal Poinciana (Delonix regia) tree benefits naturally from the upgraded design, drawing moisture from beneath the turf zone without requiring extra irrigation.

The result: a vibrant, water-smart landscape that enhances curb appeal and conserves resources.

Outdated System: The Challenge of Aging Irrigation Design

This older irrigation setup illustrates common issues found in many established communities—outdated controllers, inefficient zoning, and inconsistent water coverage. Over time, these problems lead to overwatering in some areas and dry spots in others, wasting water and increasing maintenance needs.

VizRivo evaluated the system’s performance, identifying opportunities to redesign zones, balance flow, and prepare the site for a more modern, efficient controller. This analysis set the foundation for a complete upgrade that would deliver measurable improvements in water savings and landscape health.

The result: a clear understanding of where inefficiencies occur—and a plan to transform the system into a model of smart water management.

New Installation: Smart Irrigation for Modern Efficiency

Following the redesign, VizRivo installed a brand-new Hunter smart irrigation system to replace the aging controller. The updated setup includes matched precipitation nozzles and optimized zoning for balanced coverage across the entire landscape.

With the new controller and smart design, the system delivers precise water use, eliminating waste and ensuring consistent, healthy growth. The upgrade not only enhances plant health but also reduces long-term maintenance and operational costs for the community.

The result: a state-of-the-art irrigation system that saves water, protects landscapes, and demonstrates the power of modern irrigation technology.

Precision Repair: Locating and Fixing Hidden Wiring Issues

During diagnostics, VizRivo discovered a corroded wire connection that was preventing proper voltage from reaching one of the irrigation valves—an issue that can cause entire zones to fail. Using advanced troubleshooting methods, Ray pinpointed the corrosion within inches, replaced the damaged wire section, and installed a protective wire pull box to prevent future problems.

This kind of proactive maintenance addresses the small, hidden issues that can lead to costly system failures over time.

The result: a reliable irrigation system that keeps water flowing efficiently and prevents unexpected outages.
