Aloha! I’m Ray Keenan, the founder of VizRivo, and I’ve been immersed in horticulture my entire life, from Maui to California, Arizona, and Florida. I hold a degree in turfgrass, but I quickly realized I wanted more than just mowing lawns. My journey began on Maui at Wailea Point, and after leaving the hotel industry here on the Big Island, I launched VizRivo to bring my unique skills to larger, older HOAs needing irrigation system upgrades.
What sets me apart? My deep love for Hawaii’s native flora and fauna. I know most plants here by their common name, genus, and species, and I’m an expert in fertilizers, fungicides, pest control, and arboriculture. As a licensed and certified sprinkler contractor in Hawaii, I offer unparalleled expertise in irrigation.
As a Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) and proud member of the Irrigation Association, I bring advanced expertise to every project. My certification ensures that I meet rigorous standards in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems. I focus on precision and quality, ensuring that each irrigation project is executed to meet all specifications and requirements.
With a deep understanding of hydraulics and piping systems, I handle everything from site preparation to system troubleshooting. My commitment extends beyond technical skills—I’m dedicated to upholding strong business practices, understanding contracts, and adhering to state licensing laws and codes.
Choose VizRivo for professional, reliable irrigation services backed by industry-leading certification and a dedication to excellence.
Giving back to the community and protecting Hawaii’s natural beauty is at the heart of VizRivo. I’m passionate about volunteering and conservation efforts. Here are a few examples of ways I contribute.
VizRivo redesigned and installed all new irrigation for the entire park. I continue to work with the park every weekend sharing my experience to expand the Native Hawaiian Plants at the park.
VizRivo redesigned and installed a two zone system for the small garden in Waikoloa. I swing by weekly to check on Native Hawaiian plants in the garden. We are working to add more native plants.
I love participating in initiatives to conserve water and to protect native plants and animals, ensuring Hawaii’s natural beauty thrives for future generations. Wailea Point is where I began my career.
